How did you find out about this board?

I had bought Felicity, and remembered the patterns from older catalogues (but realized they were no longer available from AG). So I searched on eBay, and found some - two, to be precise. Not realizing how eBay worked, and afraid that I'd lose both, I bid on both - and won them both! Fortunately later I was able to sell one set to someone here. But the seller of one set suggested I come and visit this Board - so here I have been for a couple of years now. Thanks to whoever that was!

Google led me to it. I was new to AG and interested in Felicity's disappearing collection and found this site. Now I don't know how I'd live without you wonderful people!!!

I've learned so much--my family thinks I'm the AG expert. It's pretty hilarious.

I did an internet search way back in the summer of 2002, right after I had bought my Kit doll. I wanted to see if there were other adults out there who still loved dolls, in the hope that I would find out I wasn't alone and the only weird college girl with AG dolls all over. I found Ann's Society of American Girl Collectors and saw that I was indeed not alone. This was back before this board was even on Hostboard - it was a much smaller board and harder to use, but it still had great people and information on it. I've been here ever since!

Last summer, after going to AGPNY and getting Samantha and Nellie, I googled "American Girl Dolls" and stumbled across some of the AG fan sites out there. Going to the Links pages on those sites lead me to Hostboard one night, and I've been hooked ever since. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I had won an eBay auction (a Felicity dress) and the seller either emailed me or sent a note with the dress. I checked it out and have been hook ever since.
